Who is happy with the upcoming released of the new 2016 Ford Bronco Concept Car? After almost 20 years without any report about this masculine vehicle, it is glad to see the new offer of the Ford Bronco in the modern marketplace. Still, some traditional accents are preserved in this car. They uniquely boost the aesthetic appeal of the exterior. Then, what will this car have in details?
The redesigned exterior look so attractive and little bit sexy for an off road vehicle. The rumor says that it will be built on the Ford Atlas platform offering light in weight design. It will support the performance of the car. Curved body design represents modernity and supports the aerodynamic design. Chrome touches complete the modern look. They are applied on the grille and bumpers. Elegant LED headlamps work with fog lights creating an imposing face.
Spacious and comfortable are two words to represent the interior design of this car. The cabin is enough to accommodate 5 passengers. Stylish interior is supported with the leather feature and some other high quality materials. Of course, the technology is updated to meet the needs of current driving. Some of them are the wide LCD screens, navigation, new audio system, MyFord infotainment system and some more high tech possibilities.
The performance always becomes the most important thing to see. There are some few options of the engine. The base one will be 5.0 l Coyote V 8 engine which is able to produce 420 horsepower. Another option is the 4.9 l Powerstroke diesel V6 to release 330 horsepower and the torque at 645 lb ft. This special Powerstroke engine guarantees more efficient fuel consumption and more power for bulky cargo. The next engine option is 5.8 l supercharged V8 that delivers 662 horsepower with 631 lb ft torque.
Those options of under the hood engine are connected to two types of transmissions. They are ZF 6 speed manual transmission and 6R140 six speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy will be about 18 to 20 mpg. The release date of this vehicle may be during the second half of 2016. There is no official report about this, but it is better to wait for further information from the 2016 Detroit Car Show to see the exact date. The price is also not clear enough because there are two strong rumors that Ford Bronco Concept Car will be priced as the Nissan Xterra, around $24,000 to $31,000.
